Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field coordination, ensure quality control, and supervise subcontracted work forces on construction projects.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule oversight, and collaboration with the Project Manager and clients. Experience in commercial and Life Science projects is preferred, with supervisory responsibilities prior on large, multi-superintendent sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and Life Science construction experience preferred.
• Experience should include supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains status reports.
• Oversees field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontractors.
• Reviews progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; large projects may have multiple Superintendents.
• Enforces safety standards and ensures tools and equipment operate safely.
