Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. You will supervise direct labor and manage contracted work to ensure successful completion, coordinating with the Project Manager and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or construction-related field and 5+ years in commercial construction, with strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years commercial construction experience required.
• Healthcare construction industry experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to plan procedures and staffing.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on project schedule and look-ahead schedules.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Communicate project progress and issues with stakeholders; coordinate with subs and clients.
• Manage craft resources to optimize labor costs and staffing.
