Job summary

DeBrine Associates in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a full-time Project Manager - MEP Projects to lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and mission-critical infrastructure projects on occupied campuses and facilities.

The role is client-facing, requiring on-site leadership, coordination with clients, facility operations, design teams, contractors, and vendors, and oversight from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Significant real-world experience managing MEP infrastructure and facility projects.
• Strong practical understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for complex MEP, infrastructure, and facility improvement projects.
• Serve as the primary on-site representative for project planning, construction activities, and contractor coordination.
• Oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction planning through project closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, facility operations teams, design consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage MEP system installations, upgrades, commissioning, and turnover activities.
