Job summary

RC Andersen, part of the STO Building Group family, seeks a Senior MEP Project Manager for the Mission-Critical sector in Atlanta, GA. Lead multiple construction projects, coordinating owners, tenants, and design professionals to ensure quality,schedule adherence, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction-related degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• 10-15 years of project management experience.
• Heavy Mechanical and/or Electrical background preferred.
• Well-developed communications, decision making, financial analysis, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
• Strong ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and architects.

Responsibilities

• Monitors project activity including schedules and spending to ensure timely, quality completion.
• Prepares or reviews project reports and schedules in line with company guidelines.
• Facilitates weekly status meetings with owner, owner’s reps, vendors, subcontractors and others.
• Conducts internal staff meetings to share project information and reinforce safety policies.
• Reviews bid documents, procedures, qualifications, estimates, and takeoffs.
• Notifies subcontractors of bid approvals and awards; procures materials per policy.
• Reviews invoices and negotiates changes with subcontractors.
• Manages change orders and final billing; ensures proper notices to subcontractors.
• Prepares close-out documentation and ensures final payments and retention releases.
