Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking an MEP Project Manager to join our Building Services team in Westwood, MA (also Woburn or Westfield). You will lead diverse MEP projects, guide design through construction, and grow client partnerships across the Northeast.

You’ll drive scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring engineers, coordinating with architects and contractors, and advancing energy-efficient building systems. This role offers a collaborative, hybrid work environment and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of progressive MEP engineering and project management experience.
• Experience managing complex building systems projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, energy standards, and construction practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Proficiency with industry-standard engineering and design software.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP engineering projects for commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, healthcare, education, and transportation clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of design and construction.
• Serve as the primary client contact and build long-term client relationships.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality control.
• Coordinate closely with architects, owners, contractors, and internal technical teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and building systems design projects.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals.
