Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager to lead Building Services projects from our Westwood, Woburn, or Westfield, MA offices. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams and drive successful project delivery for the Northeast.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships while advancing sustainable building performance and energy efficiency. This role offers a hybrid work environment and growth opportunities within a respected, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive MEP engineering and project management experience.
• Experience managing complex building systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, energy standards, and construction practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with industry-standard engineering and design software.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP engineering projects for a range of clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through design and construction.
• Serve as primary client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality control.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide technical leadership for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and building systems design.
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and networking.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and sustainability goals.
