Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking an experienced MEP/Mechanical Project Manager to join our Building Services team in the Northeast. Hybrid work options available from Middletown CT, Westwood MA, Woburn MA, or Westfield MA, with a focus on delivering critical infrastructure projects.

You will lead HVAC-focused projects across education, municipal, healthcare, and other sectors, coordinating closely with electrical, structural, and owner teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience with a focus on HVAC design.
• Experience managing mechanical/MEP projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC-focused projects while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and client communication.
• Provide technical QA/QC and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support public bidding, RFIs, submittal reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and narratives.
