Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team and partner with a global manufacturing client. The ideal candidate has an engineering background with strong MEP knowledge and owner’s representation experience to deliver construction and capital projects across data centers, critical infrastructure, aviation, and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing construction is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure appropriate communications and coordination across project teams.
• Strong client relationship management to maintain relations with stakeholders and leadership.
• Able to manage and delegate tasks to technical and non-technical staff.
• Postgraduate Mechanical or MEP engineering experience, encompassing design and site work.
• Engineering background with strong mechanical knowledge/experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage applicable engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
• Communicate with external and internal team members and stakeholders at all project stages.
• Support the scheduler with updates on progress.
• Support field coordination between GC, Commissioning Agent, and Client.
• Undertake field walks with GC and Sub-Contractor Trades.
• Attend field and punch walks with architect and MEP team.
• Help support and manage project close-out documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and report issues/gaps.
• Perform engineering QA/QC reviews for all design drawings prior to construction.
• Prepare reports on progress, KPIs, and tracking.
• Manage flow of information between team and client via meetings and communications.
• Knowledge management of insights into internal databases.
• Identify and communicate safety, health, environmental issues.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where applicable.
