Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Project Manager in Manassas, VA to lead our Building Automation team end-to-end. You will drive schedules, manage budgets, coordinate with customers, and guide engineers to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of HVAC controls and industrial automation. Onsite commissioning and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project leadership experience.
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for projects and carefully monitor project for completion.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Determine causes of deviations from the project plan or schedule and the recommended corrective actions.
• Participate in divisional staffing and is adept at securing and sharing resources.
• Manage large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.
• Regularly communicates directly with account manager, group manager, division director on project and/or account status.
• Demonstrate the ability to balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
• Demonstrate excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Contributes to development of tools that facilitate project management.
• Provide technical guidance to project team when required.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
