Job summary

Batska Consulting Group is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead complex MEP projects and ensure successful delivery in collaboration with owners and subcontractors.

The role requires deep knowledge of building systems, strong leadership, and the ability to manage MEP scopes across all project phases. Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and a degree in engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–7 years of relevant construction industry experience with direct responsibility for MEP systems.
• Healthcare, institutional, or infrastructure projects with active building conditions and system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direction, completion, and financial success of projects with owners and subcontractors.
• Interpret MEP drawings, specs, and submissions; identify coordination issues or scope gaps.
• Define MEP scope with clients and stakeholders and determine optimal delivery methods.
• Manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements related to MEP trades.
• Lead design coordination between MEP consultants and field teams.
• Forecast costs, manage RFIs, submittals, equipment lead times, schedules, budgets, and scopes.
• Develop bid packages for MEP scopes and procure proposals.
• Act as primary client contact with regular progress reporting and coordination updates.
• Identify project risks related to outages or shutdowns and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate MEP coordination meetings and track action items and resolutions.
• Create and maintain phased MEP implementation schedules to minimize disruptions.
