Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical engineering department and oversee MEP projects from concept to completion. The role requires strong technical leadership, project management, and mentoring of junior engineers to uphold high-quality standards.

You will review calculations, drawings, specifications and reports; coordinate with architects and contractors; manage budgets and schedules; and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering is required; extensive MEP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the mechanical engineering team, ensuring design quality and regulatory compliance.
• Review calculations, drawings, specs, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead multiple projects, coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
