Job summary
120 Degreez MEP Engineering in California seeks a Senior Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer to lead design, coordination, and QA/QC for commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will mentor staff, ensure code compliance, and deliver high-quality outcomes across multiple projects.
The role requires 15+ years of MEP consulting experience, an active CA PE license, and strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.
Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Active California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 15 years in commercial MEP consulting.
- Experience leading both Mechanical (HVAC) and Plumbing design for commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial projects.
- Coordinate QA/QC reviews across multiple projects.
- Ensure compliance with California Mechanical and Plumbing Codes.
- Mentor engineers and designers on technical development.
- Assist with proposal development and scope definition.
