Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced MEP/HVAC Senior Project Manager in California to lead complex projects from inception to delivery, including higher education, government, healthcare, industrial and commercial builds.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in MEP/HVAC project management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a proven ability to manage client relationships and cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of MEP/HVAC and construction project management experience.
• Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
• Communication and coaching skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Project budgeting skills.
• Able to promptly resolve team management problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams and oversee project deliverables.
• Prepare workload, sales forecasts and resources/schedule for administrative and managerial functions.
• Provide workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysis regarding prospective unsecured projects.
• Represent company at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders as required.
• Mentor staff in all phases of design process and make recommendations to HR on training requirements.
• Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.
• Update integral accounting system information.
