Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes leadership, budget control, scheduling, safety, and quality across HVAC, plumbing, piping, and controls.

You will collaborate with operations, estimating, VDC/BIM, fabrication, and field teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic growth and long-term leadership within the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial/industrial mechanical construction PM
• Experience with HVAC, piping, or process mechanical projects
• Strong scheduling, forecasting, and cost control skills
• Proven client relationships and leadership of multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient with project management and construction software

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction to closeout
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and procurement
• Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay apps
• Identify risks and opportunities for value engineering
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, VDC/BIM, fabrication, and field teams
• Mentor Project Managers and field personnel
• Support business development and client relationships
• Ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance
