Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manager of MEP Facility Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process piping engineers. This team designs new and modified facility systems and oversees the health and reliability of existing systems across multiple Blue Origin locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in facilities, building systems, or industrial MEP design.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Breadth across two or more MEP disciplines and experience with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers across multiple locations.
• Oversee design of HVAC, electrical power, plumbing, and process piping systems.
• Monitor health of existing systems; drive reliability improvements and timely deficiencies resolution.
• Establish engineering standards, review gates, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Balance workload, manage budgets/headcount, and coordinate with stakeholders.
