Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Director of MEP Facility Engineering to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process piping engineering across multiple sites. The role owns strategy, execution, and long-term capability of a multidisciplinary team, including budget, headcount, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience including facilities, building systems, or industrial MEP design.
• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers or leading teams through subordinate leaders.
• Strong command of multiple MEP disciplines and design/construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and technical direction for the MEP engineering organization across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process piping.
• Lead through managers and senior engineers to build a scalable multi-site organization.
• Oversee design of new/modified facility systems and monitor health of existing systems across sites.
