Job summary

Moss & Associates LLC is seeking an MEP Specialist in Allen, TX to lead budgeting and GMP activities for design-build projects. You will perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs, develop detailed estimates for specialty trades, and coordinate with the Preconstruction Chief to align scope and costs.

The role requires strong experience in preconstruction, price development by trade, and the ability to communicate cost variances and alternatives to Owners and the A/E team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from College/University; 4-Year BS Degree in related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Preconstruction.
• Ability to self-manage work with little direction.
• Knowledge of Summary level and detailed pricing by Trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating responsibilities and deadlines for multiple projects.
• Perform design-build project from concept to final contract award.
• Create detailed estimates for specialty trades with takeoff and unit pricing.
• Review drawings and write RFIs for submittals to Architects & Engineers.
