The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related engineering and 5+ years of healthcare estimating experience, with proficiency in SmartBid, Procore, Destini, and Bluebeam. This is a full-time role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; equivalent experience valued.
5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience on healthcare projects.
Familiar with project specs, plans, and budgets; strong math and analytical abilities.
Experience presenting proposals and collaborating with internal/external teams.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
Dive into project specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings for scope clarity.
Prepare detailed estimates covering labor, materials, and time.
Conduct comprehensive takeoffs across trades to ensure completeness.
Source bids from qualified subs and suppliers; evaluate costs to optimize value.
Support cost management and value engineering to keep projects within budget.
Collaborate to refine proposals and close gaps in scope.
Present estimates clearly and manage post-award changes and procurement.
