Job summary

Turner Construction Company, a leading national contractor, seeks an experienced MEP Estimator for a full-time traveling assignment supporting advanced technology projects, including data centers, pharma, and manufacturing. The role focuses on Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire Protection estimates from concept through construction documents, with leadership across project teams.

You will prepare detailed takeoffs, cost analyses, and life-cycle studies, lead junior staff, and coordinate with architects,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 15+ years of mechanical/plumbing/fire protection estimating experience.
Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead estimation for complex projects with MEP packages of $25M+.
Prepare quantity take-offs, estimates, and studies for Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire Protection trades.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners to communicate scopes of work and estimates.
Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a bidders list and pricing.
Supervise junior estimators and interns as needed.
Prepare scope requisitions for bidding and procurement of M/P/FP systems.
