Qualifications

• Eight+ years of estimating experience with cost control and pricing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, contracts, and cost codes.
• Records of leading estimating teams.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Teamwork, initiative, communication and leadership.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, project tools.
• Customer service oriented and professional.
• Ability to interpret and communicate policies.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full estimate preparation, review, and communication.
• Lead plan and estimate reviews with architects and engineers.
• Establish margins and contingency plans; develop value analyses.
• Communicate estimates to stakeholders and assist with subcontracting.
• Lead and support estimate teams; supervise in the Chief Estimator's absence.
• Foster relationships with MEPT trade partners and advise on strategy.
• Manage site relationships and logistics; provide improvement suggestions.
• Coach and develop leadership within the team.
• Handle safety programs and union issues.
