Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Project Manager/MEP Design Manager for Project & Development Services in Richmond, VA. You will lead project management efforts on designated projects at client sites and campuses, coordinating budgets, timelines, reports, and consultant oversight to meet client needs.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in engineering/construction project accountability, strong PM experience, and 3+ years of supervisory responsibility, including MEP design leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity especially experience in leading, motivating, and developing employees.
• MEP Design Engineering Management Experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each project phase.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients and management.
• Assist in selection, contracting and oversight of consultants and construction teams.
• Review requisitions, change orders and invoices with client and management.
• Support marketing of services to clients as requested.
• Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures.
• Cooperate with building/facility personnel to achieve quality, service, cost and profit goals.
• Report major problems and findings with recommendations to management.
• Advise on approvals for organizational changes and budget considerations.
