Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an MEP Senior Field Coordinator to join our Building Technology team on projects in Richmond, Culpeper, Ashburn, Herndon, and Manassas, VA. This full-time, in-person role coordinates MEP systems and leads field execution.

You will manage trade partners, track schedules, and support QA/QC and safety programs across complex facilities, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for managing client and trade partner relationships.
• Experience managing construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, airports, or other special-use facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems coordination and installation for complex projects.
• Provide leadership and oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in developing and tracking schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program.
• Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and oversee start-up and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and design partners while supervising trade partners and vendors.
