Job summary

The MEP Design Lead / Project Engineer coordinates mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code requirements to produce accurate construction documents and lead interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP design or project coordination.
• Experience coordinating construction documents for commercial projects.
• Experience working with clients, consultants, contractors, landlords, and jurisdictions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the MEP Project Manager in managing assigned client accounts and serve as a day-to-day contact for selected clients.
• Produce accurate, coordinated, and high-quality MEP construction documents within project schedules.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and mentorship to MEP Designers.
• Maintain and improve client templates, prototypes, drawing standards, and project checklists.
• Perform site surveys as required and represent PDMS Design Group professionally.
