Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a seasoned MEP executive to oversee and direct preconstruction, engineering and field installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems for a major project.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Executive, the role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, LEED preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years’ experience with MEP design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present technical material.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors and owners.
• Ensure alignment with client goals from initiation to completion.
• Lead and develop MEP staff, and oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP and Superintendent-MEP.
• Manage MEP procurement, budgets, quality, safety, scheduling, installation, commissioning and close-out.
