Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Frederick, MD, seeks a Superintendent Mechanical-Electrical to lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems. You will ensure safety, maintain schedule delivery, and uphold quality and budget targets.

You will supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns, manage project coordination with engineers and owners, and drive risk mitigation while enforcing Turner safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years engineering/architectural experience with 6+ years ME/MEP construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, scheduling, cost control, and contract documents.
• Proven written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEPS subcontractors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Develop schedules, recovery plans, and ensure safety and quality.
• Manage billing, payables, subcontractor payments, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with owners and architects to resolve field issues and approvals.
