Job summary

Messer Construction Co. is seeking an experienced engineer to support BIM coordination and MEP operations for complex commercial projects in Indianapolis.

This role emphasizes document control, BIM collaboration, and proactive planning across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of commercial construction experience, with the ability to work non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide document control for shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos, and daily reports with MEP focus.
• Lead the spatial coordination and assembly of BIM with MEP focus.
• Lead planning and execution of scheduled construction activities with MEP focus.
• Capable of procuring mechanical/electrical/plumbing scopes of work.
• Establish project-level risk assessments and controls for MEP scopes of work.
• Support Zero Injury safety program.
• Support the Quality Leadership System.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
