Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Dallas is seeking a seasoned project professional to oversee and direct preconstruction, engineering and field installation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on a major project.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive experience in MEP design and installation, with strong leadership, communication skills and proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling software. LEED is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of related MEP design and field installation experience.
• Strong leadership and written and oral communication skills.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (plans, specs, codes).
• Lead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff and perform performance appraisals when needed.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP and subordinates.
• Manage MEP procurement, budgets, quality, safety, scheduling, installation, commissioning and close-out.
