Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced MEP-focused leader to oversee preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low-voltage, and fire sprinkler systems across multiple projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressive design and field installation experience, strong communication abilities, and willingness to travel nationally. LEED is preferred and the position reports to Project and Construction executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Identify design features that impact cost and recommend alternatives.
• Demonstrated ability to present technical material.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel 50%–100% nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives to align with client goals from start to finish.
• Comprehensively review contract documents including Turner contracts, plans, specs and codes.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Turner MEP staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
• Manage MEP procurement, budgets, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out.
