Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr Product Specialist to design, enhance, and support Mendix-based applications in a hybrid day shift. You will configure secure, scalable Mendix solutions and integrate REST APIs while owning security and performance tuning.

Responsibilities include translating business needs into Mendix designs, building modular solutions, and ensuring governance and compliance across applications. Life and annuities insurance exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Mendix app development: microflows, domain models, pages, data validation.
Experience designing and implementing Mendix REST API integrations with robust error handling and secure data exchange.
Solid Mendix security concepts: role-based access, entity-level constraints, secure navigation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Mendix designs delivering efficiency improvements for enterprise clients.
Develop modular, scalable Mendix solutions configuring domain models, microflows, and pages for complex workflows.
Implement and optimize Mendix REST API integrations to securely exchange data with internal and external systems.
Configure and manage Mendix security settings including user roles and access rules for governance and compliance.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot Mendix runtime issues by analyzing logs and optimizing queries.
