Job summary

Cognizant in Austin, TX is seeking a Sr Product Specialist T to design, enhance and support Mendix-based applications. You will configure secure, scalable solutions and integrate REST API services in a hybrid, day-shift environment to accelerate insurance-related processes and enterprise digital transformation with strong Mendix ownership of security and performance.

You will collaborate across teams to translate business needs into Mendix designs, build modular and maintainable solutions,

Qualifications

• Mendix development including microflows, domain models, pages, and data validation for complex business scenarios.
• Experience designing REST API integrations with error handling and secure data exchange.
• Security concepts: role-based access, entity-level constraints, and secure navigation.
• 4–8 years of Mendix project experience in enterprise environments.
• Familiar with Agile or iterative delivery with stakeholder collaboration.
• Insurance domain exposure to life and annuities to shape Mendix requirements.
• Clear communication with product owners, architects, and testers throughout delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into Mendix designs delivering process improvements.
• Develop modular, scalable Mendix solutions.
• Implement and optimize Mendix REST API integrations.
• Configure Mendix security settings and governance.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot Mendix runtime issues.
