Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Engineer to design, develop and support Mendix-based enterprise manufacturing applications in Atlanta. You will build domain models, flows, and reusable components, and integrate with ERP, cloud services and shop-floor systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced Mendix Studio Pro with domain modeling, microflows, nanoflows and security; performance optimization.
• Developing Java actions and extensions; integrating REST APIs and web services using JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL development; troubleshooting complex enterprise integrations.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub; branching, reviews, release management and CI/CD practices.
• Experience integrating Mendix with AWS and Azure for secure data exchange, monitoring and cloud troubleshooting.
• Experience delivering and supporting business-critical applications across design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams with strong analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, deploy and support Mendix-based enterprise manufacturing apps.
• Build complex domain models, microflows, nanoflows, workflows and reusable components.
• Develop and support manufacturing execution capabilities: production, quality, WIP, material movement, scanners and dashboards.
• Build and maintain interfaces with ERP, cloud, database and downstream systems.
• Design REST, SQL/PostgreSQL, cloud and shop-floor integrations with robust validation and logging.
• Integrate manufacturing tech like scanners, RFID, printers, Kepware, PLC/OPC interfaces.
• Perform technical design, estimation, code reviews, testing, docs, deployment and production support.
• Promote releases across environments per change and governance controls.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor Mendix developers and establish consistent standards for development, integration and support.
