Chelsea Piers Lp is seeking an experienced, high-energy coach to work with the Development Program Men's Competitive Team (Pre-Team through Level 10) in New York. Candidates must have at least five years of coaching DP Men's gymnastics and possess strong spotting abilities, positive critique, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience coaching DP Men's competitive gymnastics.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent spotting skills on all events and knowledge of skill progression.
• Up-to-date USA Gymnastics Safety Certification & SafeSport Certifications.
• Ability to create and follow lesson plans that fit within the program curriculum.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach Development Program athletes (Pre-Team through Level 10) across all six men’s events.
• Implement team training plans and adapt workouts to each athlete’s progression.
• Set and maintain high performance standards for skill development, strength, flexibility, and readiness.
• Teach and safely spot advanced skills on all events with proper progressions.
• Prepare athletes for competition, including routine development and meet preparation.
• Travel with the team for competitions, including weekends and out-of-town meets.
• Provide progress updates and maintain clear communication with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Uphold SafeSport standards and maintain required certifications and memberships.
