Job summary

Chelsea Piers Field House in New York, NY seeks energetic coaches to lead weekend birthday parties and youth events. You will guide gymnastics-based activities and ensure a safe, fun environment for children aged 2–13, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidates should be reliable, punctual and able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; USAG certification is a plus, and prior coaching or athletic experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum coaching/working with children ages 2–13
• Experience coaching or participating in gymnastics (recreational, competitive, or artistic) is preferred
• USAG certification is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities for kids and teens during weekend birthday parties
• Lead gymnastics-based party activities, including tumbling, obstacle courses, and skill stations
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and fun environment alongside staff
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and encouragement to guests and staff
• Remain positive and calm during events
• Additional weekday & weekend shifts for classes and youth & adult events will be available
