Chelsea Piers in New York, NY is seeking an experienced gymnastics coach to lead development programs from DP Pre-Team through Level 10 and Xcel Bronze–Sapphire. You will implement training plans, set high performance standards, and safely spot advanced skills across all events.

Travel may be required for competitions and you will prepare athletes for meets. Applicants should have at least five years' coaching experience, strong knowledge of gymnastic progressions, and USA Gymnastics SafeSport

Qualifications

• Minimum five years coaching Women's competitive gymnastics (DP Pre-Team through Level 10 and/or Xcel Bronze through Sapphire).
• Extensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for gymnastics.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• USA Gymnastics Safety Certification & SafeSport Certifications.

Responsabilités

• Coach athletes from Pre-Team through Level 10 and Xcel Bronze–Sapphire.
• Implement training plans as directed by Head Coach; adapt workouts to progression.
• Set and maintain high performance standards for skill development, strength, flexibility, and readiness.
• Teach and safely spot advanced skills across all events using proper progressions and injury-prevention practices.
• Prepare athletes for competition, including routine development, meet preparation, and in-meet coaching.
• Travel with the team for competitions, including weekends and out-of-town meets.
• Track athlete progress and provide regular feedback aligned with seasonal goals.
• Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and staff, including progress updates and goal setting.
• Uphold USA Gymnastics SafeSport standards and maintain all required certifications.
• Collaborate with coaching staff and support evaluations, tryouts, camps, and program events.
• Create a positive, disciplined, and athlete-centered training environment.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the program
