Chelsea Piers is seeking an experienced gymnastics coach to lead the Development Program for the Men's Competitive Team, from Pre‑Team through Level 10. You will guide athletes, implement training plans, and maintain high performance standards in a busy gym environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years coaching DP Men's gymnastics, strong spotting ability, and valid USA Gymnastics Safety and SafeSport certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience coaching DP Men's competitive gymnastics.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent spotting skills on all events and knowledge of skill progression.
• Up-to-date USA Gymnastics Safety Certification & SafeSport Certifications.
• Ability to create and follow lesson plans within the program curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Coach Development Program athletes (Pre-Team through Level 10) across all six men’s events.
• Implement team training plans as directed by the Head Coach, adapting workouts to progression.
• Set and maintain high performance standards for skill development, strength, flexibility, and readiness.
• Teach and safely spot advanced skills on all events using proper progressions and injury-prevention practices.
• Prepare athletes for competition, including routine development and meet preparation.
• Travel with the team for competitions, including weekends and out-of-town meets.
• Track athlete progress and provide regular feedback aligned with seasonal goals.
• Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and staff regarding progress and goals.
• Uphold USA Gymnastics SafeSport standards and maintain certifications.
