Job summary

Draper seeks a Senior Yield Engineer to lead the MEMS yield strategy from development to production, guiding cross-functional teams and setting direction for yield improvement. This senior role combines hands-on technical work with leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with process, test, quality, and reliability groups.

You will drive suppression of yield loss, implement statistical process control, and translate findings into actionable capital and process changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Physics required.
• 5–10 years of Microsystems Engineering or related experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and demonstrated leadership experience a plus.
• Experience with RF MEMS, inertial sensors, photonic ICs or microfluidic devices.
• Security clearance eligibility may apply.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the MEMS yield improvement roadmap.
• Lead cross-disciplinary root-cause investigations across lithography, deposition, etch, and related processes.
• Develop and maintain yield models and control plans.
• Lead end-to-end yield ramps for new products and present results to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
