Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks a Yield Engineer to establish a unified yield strategy for the MEMS fabrication facility, lead cross-functional investigations, and mentor junior engineers. You will serve as the primary technical authority across process integration, equipment, test, quality, and reliability.

You will own the yield improvement roadmap, set direction for multiple disciplines, and drive end-to-end yield ramps with a strong emphasis on analytical data and risk reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EE/ME/Physics required; Masters preferred.
  • Experience in MEMS device design, fabrication, and testing.
  • Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience with yield improvement and reliability methods.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • Top-tier communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own the MEMS yield improvement roadmap.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary root-cause investigations across lithography, deposition, etch, wafer bonding.
  • Develop yield models and SPC limits with process engineers.
  • Drive new product yield ramps end-to-end with FMEA and risk reduction.
  • Present yield performance and improvement plans to senior leadership.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers.
