Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks an experienced MEMS engineer to design, test, and optimize MEMS devices and production methods.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to improve device performance, reliability, and manufacturing readiness, utilizing modeling, metrology and failure analysis. Required 5–10 years in Microsystems Engineering, with a strong background in MEMS fabrication tools and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics required. Master's degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of Microsystems Engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops MEMS devices and layouts.
• Assesses performance and capabilities of MEMS designs.
• Tests and evaluates devices using various tools and software.
• Develops production methods and fabrication processes for MEMS.
• Drafts documentation such as operating instructions and performance specs.
