Job summary

TE Connectivity Milpitas is seeking a Staff Process/Manufacturing Engineer to own MEMS wafer processing, drive yield, and collaborate with Production, R&D, Quality, and global teams. You will mentor engineers, develop new processes, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering (or closely related engineering field).
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor/MEMS wafer processing in a cleanroom environment.
• Demonstrated data driven decision making
• Proficiency with metrology equipment, wafer probing systems, SPC/DOE software (Minitab/JMP).
• Experience with process control, formal process release, and engineering documentation (PFMEA, control plans, specifications).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with demonstrated use of ANOVA, SPC, DOE, or advanced data analysis methods in production environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain process documentation, PFMEAs, and engineering standards.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and reliability specs.
• Lead MEMS product-line engineering, yield optimization, and design reviews.
• Drive cost reduction and quality via Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, ANOVA.
• Support daily manufacturing with defect analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and validate new/modified processes and equipment.
• Champion safety programs and ISO/TS compliance.
