Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Advanced Semiconductor Engineer to own MEMS sensor development across multiple targets including pressure and flow sensing. You will drive device performance through advanced design and process integration, coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize fabrication and yield.

The role emphasizes DOE planning, data-driven problem solving, and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing, with emphasis on reliability and robustness of MEMS devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in semiconductor fabrication, process integration, device engineering and characterization.
• Experience with MEMS pressure sensors and related device integration is required.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor unit processes and device testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop MEMS sensor chip design for pressure, flow, magnetic, chemical sensing.
• Define and optimize front-end and back-end process flows for new nodes.
• Assist electrical characterization and drive performance and yield improvements.
• Coordinate with Lithography, Etch, Thin Films, CMP and Metrology to run experiments.
• Plan DOE studies, analyze yield data, identify root causes of outliers and define corrective actions.
• Support transfer of technologies from R&D to High-Volume Manufacturing.
• Work with FA teams to diagnose electrical failures and validate device robustness.
