Job summary

GHD in Southern California is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead membrane water treatment projects. You will design, optimize, and troubleshoot RO/NF/UF systems for municipal and industrial applications, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients and regulators.

This role requires strong leadership, a PE license in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months), and at least eight years of experience in water treatment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in chemical/environmental/process engineering for water treatment projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and troubleshooting of membrane water treatment systems (RO, NF, UF) for municipal and industrial clients.
• Provide design and management support; mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Develop technical reports and proposals; coordinate with clients, vendors, and regulators.
