Job summary

Repligen Corporation in Marlborough, MA seeks a Scientist II to advance ultrafiltration and microfiltration membrane technologies for bioprocessing from concept to commercialization. You will design and optimize membranes, run lab and pilot-scale experiments, and drive tech transfer and validation with quality and regulatory alignment.

You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Marketing to deliver robust processes, document development

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of industrial experience (or MS with 5+ years, BS with 8+ years).
• Experience in polymeric membrane development and membrane formation processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop ultrafiltration and microfiltration membranes and manufacturing processes from concept through commercialization.
• Execute process development, verification, validation, scale-up and technology transfer.
• Evaluate formulations and technologies to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Design and analyze lab and pilot-scale experiments; support verification.
• Prepare technical documentation and transfer packages; ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance projects and commercialization.
