Job summary

Collins Community Credit Union in Marion seeks a Member Relationship Specialist III to originate and close consumer loans while expanding membership and deposits. You will consult with members, explain loan options, and maintain a healthy loan pipeline across in‑person and digital channels.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in lending or sales‑driven banking, strong communication skills, and are prepared to obtain NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in consumer lending, retail banking, or a sales‑focused environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain active NMLS registration.
• Notary Public designation required.
• Bondable in accordance with Iowa and Collins Community Credit Union guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer‑facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close consumer loans while growing deposits.
• Open new deposit accounts and conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments.
• Cross‑sell products and services and review relationship expansion opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional member experiences across in‑person, phone, and digital channels.
• Meet monthly loan production and new member/deposit growth goals.
