Job summary

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) is seeking an Associate on the Member Recruitment team to recruit and reinstate members, process applications, and support Convocation activities. You will provide excellent service by phone and email, handle new member applications, and assist with annual Convocation planning.

Typical duties include data management in Salesforce/Fonteva, coordinating recruitment initiatives, and partnering with staff to align strategy with ACC’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in association management, nonprofit, or healthcare.
• Experience supporting committee activities and meeting materials.
• Strong written and spoken English with attention to grammar and proofreading.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Travel up to 1–2 times per year; effective team collaboration required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as membership category expert to support recruitment and stakeholder needs.
• Maintain data in Salesforce/Fonteva and generate reports.
• Assist with planning recruitment initiatives and member retention efforts.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings and annual Convocation events.
• Develop and update recruitment/marketing plans with measurable success metrics.
• Engage external partners to support recruitment activities.
