Job summary

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) seeks an Associate, Member Recruitment in Washington, DC. You will deliver outstanding service to members and staff by phone and email, process new and advancing member applications, and support the annual Convocation events.

You will become the expert on membership criteria, manage data in Salesforce/Fonteva, contribute to recruitment plans, coordinate meetings, and assist with member retention activities while collaborating across teams and with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of progressive experience in association management, nonprofit, or healthcare industry.
• Proven experience with developing and supporting committee/council/group activities; including preparation of meeting materials and follow-through.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
• Ability to initiate and persevere on multiple, complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the College’s expert on each category of membership and their criteria.
• Utilize Salesforce/Fonteva to maintain data, process applications, and generate reports.
• Assist Team Leader in planning and executing recruitment initiatives.
• Work with staff to support member retention efforts.
• Organize and attend conference calls/meetings and prepare materials.
• Develop and update annual recruitment/marketing plan with measurable goals.
• Engage with external partners to support recruitment activities.
• Plan logistics for meetings and Annual Meeting events.
