What is Security Products Group at OCI?

This group develops comprehensive security solutions to safeguard customers’ cloud environments, focusing on customer isolation, data encryption, security controls, and visibility. Our goal is to create the most secure cloud environment, investing heavily in vulnerability detection, threat analysis, and attack mitigation.

We provide services that help customers secure their data, manage access, detect vulnerabilities, and implement industry best practices such as CVE and CIS, enabling confident application development on OCI.

Who are we looking for?

We want engineers experienced in distributed systems, capable of designing and launching major features, operating at high scale, and ensuring system resilience. The ideal candidate is a skilled coder and a broad systems thinker, comfortable with deep technical work and system design, valuing simplicity and scalability, and eager to learn.

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed services that meet security and scalability requirements.

• Contribute to system architecture decisions and security enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in distributed service engineering.
• Experience with feature design reviews, documentation, and product launch processes.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Knowledge of databases, NoSQL, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security/risk assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of cryptography, DDoS mitigation, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or related security fields.
