Job summary

Arize Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Senior Member Advocate to serve members in our branch retail environment. You will help members with their financial needs, open and close accounts, and provide support for deposits and remote services.

The role emphasizes service excellence, accurate problem resolution, and proactive member outreach. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with Reg E/CC/D and Truth in Savings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in a credit union or banking environment.
• Working knowledge of Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, and Truth in Savings Act.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with members by listening to assess financial needs and recommending credit union products and services.
• Assist members with opening and closing accounts, questions, transactions, and problem resolution within established authority.
• Provide knowledgeable support for deposit products, remote services, and other credit union products and services.
• Conduct member outreach and participate in sales development activities and branch promotions.
• Educate members on available products and services to deepen relationships and make referrals.
• Resolve routine and complex member issues accurately and effectively, taking ownership and following through to completion.
• Monitor and manage branch cash needs and maintain records and reports.
• Support the credit union's service culture, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
