Job summary

SAIC in Hawaii seeks a MEDLOG subject matter expert to support MARFORPAC deliberate and contingency planning, focusing on Class VIII posture, readiness, and interoperability. The role requires translating MEDLOG doctrine for planners and producing high-quality staff products for decision makers.

You will coordinate across MARFORPAC/INDOPACOM and allied partners, maintain task visibility, and deliver weekly updates while guiding required MEDLOG actions in planning cycles.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience supporting military logistics and sustainment operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently on mission-critical, high-visibility work.
  • Experience across DoD joint service and international logistics networks.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Navy MEDLOG systems, including MAXIMO.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (SharePoint/Teams).
  • Military schooling such as SNCO Academy, Career Level School or EWS.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide MEDLOG operations support across planning cycles and staff products.
  • Identify and assess operational MEDLOG requirements and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor communications for MEDLOG updates and coordinate with offices.
  • Develop MEDLOG plans, POA&Ms, and exercise inputs; brief leadership as needed.
  • Produce recurring reports and ensure alignment with government formats.
