Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities include administering meds per physician orders, documenting in MAR/TAR in real time, monitoring residents for changes, reporting refusals, maintaining clean carts, and upholding infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be 18+.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document medication administration in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms and administering medications for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly and complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Monitor residents for health changes and prevent medication errors through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
