Job summary

The Landings of Rockingham is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications to residents, monitor health status, and support the nursing team with high-quality care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred. At least 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred, and active Medication Aide certification is required, CPR/First Aid preferred. Background check and drug screening will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe, report health status changes, measure vital signs as needed.
• Resident Engagement: build positive relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures, maintain organized and secure medication carts and records, respond to emergencies.
